The KINGSWEAR Open is back! Once again this year, the tournament will offer provincial and national level competition at an established site with a unique prize money system in Quebec.

FOR BEACH VOLLEYBALL FANS
The main event, the Kingswear Open, will take place from July 10 to 12, 2026. The best volleyball players in Quebec and Canada are expected to compete for a total prize of $5200 and earn the title of Kingswear Open champion. This event will allow the 28 best women's and men's teams to compete in Volleyball Quebec's Senior Beach Volleyball Circuit at the only event in Quebec on a real beach!

Discover an event that brings together the best players in Quebec and Canada in the Senior category. At a site synonymous with beach volleyball in Quebec. Indeed, Major Beach in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts has hosted numerous tournaments and championships over the past 25 years!

FULL 28-TEAM BRACKET
Victory in 1/8 - *$50
Victory in 1/4 - *$100

The cumulative prize for the winners in each category will be $950.
Bounty Hunter Prize
A prize* of $250 will be awarded to the #1 seeds in each category
$50 will be taken from this prize* and given to the team that wins a set against the #1 seeds (up to $250/5 sets per gender)

Rising Star Prize
A prize* of $250 will be awarded to the best Quebecois duo aged 20 and under per gender

QUALIFICATION FOR THE MAIN DRAW
The Kingswear Open will have a main draw of 28 teams per gender. There will be qualifiers on Friday, if there are more than 28 registrations in a category. Qualifiers will begin around 4:00 PM on FRIDAY, July 10, 2026. Teams not qualified for the main draw after qualifiers will receive a 50% refund of their registration fees.
A TOURNAMENT FOR YOUTH TOO
In addition to the main tournament, we offer a youth tournament, the Youth Open, which allows players aged 13 to 18 and under to compete at the same site as the senior edition. This tournament will take place on THURSDAY and FRIDAY, July 8 and 9, 2026.
**Admission to Major Beach in Ste-Agathe-des-Monts is paid at all times, except for players.
